Premier Technologies Hybrid
7100 -- Looking to update
your audio content conviently through the Internet/Intranet?
The Hybrid 7100 is a solid-state Music On Hold player that
can receive a new audio upload via Ethernet connection. This
wall mount (rack mount optional) On Hold player is also ideal
for applications that require audio distribution over an IP
network to multiple locations.

For Ethernet applications, new On Hold updates can be uploaded
to the device through your Local Area Network (LAN) or Wide
Area Network (WAN). Audio can also be remotely managed to
multiple locations via the Internet using standard Port 80
and a Content Management System (CMS)(optional). Both methods
of delivery accept a standard MP3 audio file.

PULL Updates
Using a Content Management System (CMS), the Hybrid 7100 receives
(PULL) audio and configuration updates over the Internet
or Intranet. As an example, when Powers Productions has completed
your production or update, upon your approval we can load
your Hybrid 7100 directly from our studio.
PUSH Updates
Alternately, you can also send (PUSH) your MP3
Message On Hold audio production to the Hybrid 7100. Connection
to a local area network (LAN) is made by a standard Ethernet
interface on the unit. The Hybrid 7100 is accessible via LAN
or WAN. The Hybrid 7100 is especially useful when you have
multiple locations that need updates, regardless of how often.
With the Hybrid 7100, and unlike some other units, there is
no special administrating software that needs to be purchased.

Features:

Audio / Recording
Time
The Hybrid 7100 stores audio in standard MP3 formats. MP3
bit rates between 64-256kbps may be used. Depending on the
bit rate used, the total memory of the unit can vary from
approximately 11-45 minutes of storage.

Setup
The device IP address is entered into a computer's web browser
on the Local Area Network (LAN). A graphical user interface
is presented to the user for device configuration and audio
adjustment.

Volume/Tone Control
An 8 ohm and a 600 ohm output are available from the amplifier.
Volume and tone control changes are made by using a standard
web browser operated from a computer on the LAN. Up/Down volume
buttons are located on the unit as well. All of these adjustments
are made in real time on the machine.

Communication
In "Pull" mode, the Hybrid 7100 periodically
communicates to a Content Management System (CMS)(optional).
Generally, this is done at defined intervals of time (typically
every 1-12 hours) as it looks for program updates. First the
Hybrid 7100 unit identifies itself to the CMS by a serial
number. After identification, the CMS will determine if there
is a new audio file to download. It then pulls this file from
the CMS and stores in flash memory. In "Push"
mode you can simply open a browser, type the Hybrid 7100's
IP number and communicate instantly!

Product Updates
The unit also has the ability to receive firmware updates
during these checks to the Content Management System. Administrators
will be notified of firmware updates as they become available.
The Administrator will then have the option as to whether
or not they want to update the Hybrid 7100.

Detailed Network Communication
Information
In "Pull" mode, all communication between the Hybrid
7100 and the Content Management System is via http protocol
and is over port 80. This is the standard Internet communication
protocol. As a result, firewall security is not a concern
with IT professionals. Communication with the CMS does not
jeopardize network security.

Mounting
The Hybrid 7100 can be mounted to a wall next to the phone
system, or in a server rack environment by purchasing optional
rack mount "ears" - 1U.
