you have a "consumer" style phone (you don't already have a
"music/message" audio input), the minimum you will need for
Message On Hold is an "Interface" unit. This unit provides a
music/message audio input for your phone. We offer the interface only,
and the the interface with an included digital player. You decide what
level of functionality you will need. Remember, Digital Playback models
are immune to power bumps and interruptions, sound great, plus they last
and last. We offer devices from OnHoldPlus, Bogen, Viking, Premier Technologies,
Nel-Tech, Skutch and others.

| Note
that the different Skutch Interfaces below are designed to work with specific
telephone(s) or as "universal" interfaces, depending on the interface
model. The specific models are the most sought after adapters. These adapters
are transparent to the operation of your telephone. To place a call ON HOLD
you simply press the HOLD button on the telephone. Music On Hold is played
to your customer until the call is picked back up. Each model of adapter
work on a narrow range of telephones and are not recommended in situations
where your business has a wide variety of different makes and models of
telephones. You must have a telephone that is compatible with the adapter.
