Viking Electronics TMS-2 Announcer/Sequencer-- Works with any normal one or two line phone ! Now, answer all of your customer calls promptly and professionally, even when you're on the other line! In the day mode, and with a two line phone the TMS-2 answers calls on one line while you are busy or on the opposite line. When the TMS-2 answers a line it greets your caller with a professional "Auto Attendant" welcome greeting that Powers Productions can record for you! After the greeting has played the TMS-2 holds your caller until you are available to take the call, or up to a maximum of 15 minutes. During this time, Message/Music On Hold can be provided from any audio source including a PC Sound Card, portable CD player or a Message On Hold digital player. Contact Powers Productions if you are in need of a Digital On Hold player! If you already have a digital player for Message On Hold audio while your callers are placed on hold from your telephone, that audio can be "split" and fed the TMS-2, providing a Message On Hold while the TMS-2 keeps your new caller on hold.
In the night mode, the TMS-2 allows your answering machine to answer either line. The LED indicator displays which mode is active (day or night) and which line is on hold. A volume adjustable beep and warble also indicate which line is on hold or ringing.
Note that in the day mode, if you only have one telephone line you can allow the TMS-2 to answer that line (after 1 to 9 rings), greet your caller and place them on hold, with the option of playing you Message On Hold production for them until you pick up. Why would you want to do this? If you know you will be out of the area for a few minutes and want to have the TMS-2 answer, greet and place your caller on hold, or simply because you would like to have your company sound much bigger by having the features of a large business telephone system, including "Auto Attendant."
