Nel-Tech Labs' Messager USB -- The Messager® USB is a digital audio playback device designed to provide a continuous-play audio source for message-on-hold, background music, or any other audio application where high-quality audio playback is required.
With the state-of-the-art Messager USB, messages are stored on industry standard USB or PP Flash Drives from 16MB up to 4GB (note: 32MB Flash Drive included!). The Messager USB is capable of MP3 file playback from 8Kbps, which is great for telephone use, all the way up to 128Kbps (near CD-quality) for point of purchase, overhead background music and other high quality use.
Audio content is easily managed by plugging the USB Flash Drive into a PC or MAC computer’s USB port, and then “dragging and dropping” MP3 files to and from the USB Flash Drive. With this technology, we can now send you your new production or updated message-on-hold via an e-mail attachment or ftp for you to simply update your unit. This saves you the expense of having to purchase additional USB Flash Drives, and lets you update your message immediately.
The Messager USB is also available with the next generation encryption software called Sonocrypt Level 3. This version of Sonocrypt encrypts the file itself making the MP3 file unplayable anywhere except on the Messager USB. This makes the distribution of music and messaging safe, secure, and ensures against unauthorized playback.
